CREAM'S IMPLEMENTATION METHODOLOGY

 

CREAM can be implemented in both on-line and off-line modes. When implemented in on-line mode, CREAM controls and monitors all credit limits utilization as well as exceptions. The on-line implementation provides automatic and seamless integration to CREAM'S Credit Risk Measurement.

Alternatively, CREAM can also be implemented in off-line mode. In off-line mode, the CREAM data loader, loads the relevant credit data into CREAM database and analyses the same for both credit administration reporting as well as for credit measurement and risk calculations (CVaR). CREAM can be implemented within centralized or distributed processing environments. When implemented with distributed database, CREAM automatically provides information about all credit risks and creates a central consolidated database for corporate reporting.
